The Rainbow Fairy books are a favorite of my daughter's. She has read many of them and loves when we get her a new one.

Great book! one of my Favorites.

Is it more important to win a medal in sports competition or in life situations? I enjoyed learning about the different field day activities, but more than that I enjoyed find out why medals should really be given. This book is one that NEEDS to be shared with children. I wish I had had this for both myself and for my children.

This is #2 of a great series about Club Stephanie , a club created by Stephanie and her friends. Now that Stephanie is old enough to go to the pool without her family , she thinks this will be a great summer! But as soon as Stephanie meets Rick a cute life guard at the pool she realizes that it might not be!

This is the best book for kids-its so fun-have fun reading it to ur kids-It's AMAZING!

I bought this book and actually participated in the group workshop with the author. Basically, the book provides you with ideas of all sorts of things you might want to do to improve your life/better yourself/have some fun/etc. The excuses are kind of like Girl Scout badges, so to "earn" your excuse, you choose a few of the activities listed and do those. You could probably do this on your own, but it's much more fun with a group.

I choose to do four excuses: #19 Because I'm Game for Dating, #21 Because I Need a Little Peace and Spirituality, #23 Because I Need a Weekend (or Two) and #27 Because I'm a Closet Gourmet. And then within each of those excuses, I had lots of activities I could choose to do to complete the excuse.

With the dating one, you can do this for romantic dates or just platonic get-togethers with friends, which is what I did. I had to pick a bunch of activities from the list that sounded like fun and then make dates with friends to do them. For the Peace and Spirituality excuse, I attended a service at a different faith's church, I had a reading with a psychic and I learned to meditate. For the Weekend excuse, I checked out art exhibitions, community festivals and etc. that were going on in my area over the next few months, and then went to a couple on the weekends with friends. And finally, I tried the Gourmet excuse because I love food but hate to cook. I sampled some gourmet food at local restaurants, tried some new ethnic cuisine I probably wouldn't have otherwise tried and I took a couple cooking lessons with a friend.

I loved the book and really enjoyed working on the excuses. It was a great way to try new things, and it was a lot of fun, since I did almost all of my activities with my husband or with friends. I would highly recommend the book to anyone looking to try some new things or revisit some old hobbies in the company of some good friends!

Fraidy Cat is a lonely old stray kitty that lives in Uncle Will's barn. Eli just wants to be the kitty's friend, but the poor kitty is afraid! Other boys had pulled his tail and made loud noises. Eli patiently feeds and talks to the kitty day after day, praying to God that Fraidy Cat will be brave so that Eli can keep him. When the kitty chews the ears off Eli's favorite bunny, he thinks that Eli will be angry and pull his tail for sure. But Eli didn't!

This is a wonderful tale with a heartwarming ending. Being a cat lover, I was first drawn to the book by the adorable illustrations - especially Fraidy Cat! I like the fact, too, that Eli's prayer is short and simple.. which is appropriate for young children. The book doesn't preach anything... just shows Eli's faith in God in a vary simple and natural way.

I highly recommend this book for children. The text is simple enough for a young reader, yet the story is perfect for any age.

Hazel Dixon-Cooper is an amazing astrologer and has the wittiest way of writing an astrology books. This on,e in particular, has the FUN characteristics that each sign has as a friend, either being a virtue or a tremendous flaw. You will laugh out at the way things are described, and will understand perfectly your friends.

Por fin, un libro con personaje latina. Gabi es terca, chistosa, y real. Ama a su familia extendida y a sus amiguitas de la escuela. Habla los dos lenguas, y a veces, se confunde y salen mixtas por accidente. A mis estudiantes bilingues del tercero les gusto muchisimo. Lo recomiendo en espanol o en ingles. Mira tambien al sitio en la red de la autora. Tiene muchos mas comentarios de la gente.
