Equinox Books

Jorj Bent, who is that guy? One of the most underrated science-fiction/fantasy writers ever, that's who Jorj Bent is. Though he may have very little recognition attached to his name he wrote 'Sometime After the Equinox' like a master. It has been sometime since I read this book, but last time was the third and every time was interesting and different. The plot unfolds elegantly and believably as an unsuspecting ordinary man is spiritually teleported to an alternate dimension after falling into a deep sleep resulting from exotic tea purchased at an odd shop nearby. He finds himself mad, confused, and wanting to go back, the problem is he must help save this alternate dimension, which is intrinsically tied to his own, from tyrannical evil forces. The journey is long and arduous, covering nearly a continent, and the challenge for the character and those he aids on the way is even more perilous. As great as any classic, yet short, condensed and rich, you'll enjoy this book if your a Sci-Fi person anything like myself.
