Christmas Books

I found this book just right as far as my playing ability goes. Last Christmas, I only just received this book (from the USA) a few days before I had to play at a "Christmas Spectacular" School concert. The songs are well-arranged for the Accordion -- not too hard and not too easy -- just right!! I now have six (6) Accordion books arranged by Gary Meisner and I enjoy playing from all of them. I truly recommend this Book for all Accordionists of varying abilities.

My 7 year old loves this and was able to play some of the songs within a few days. There are harder songs as well, so it is a book we will use for awhile!

I am an adult getting back into piano playing after taking less for a few years twenty years ago. I love this series, the arrangements are easy and sound good, and it is enjoyable to play along with the accompanying music on the CD. The accompanying music is also good when playing for guests as it makes the music more interesting, and takes some of the focus off the player.

This book is so much fun. I never thought I could create like that, but with such clear and easy to follow instructions...I can! This is the second book I have purchased by Ms. Cranley and this one paid for itself with the first gift I MADE instead of purchased!

Derek McFadden has captured the essence of family in his book, a fictional tribute to a man he apparently loved very much. He brings his father back to life through the memories of his favorite hours with him which were those of the holidays. With all the radiant smells of his dad's homemade pies, his sarcastic words of wisdom, and a love that never went cold, this is a book that really is about love. It's all captured in this novella that can be enjoyed in a single night's sitting.

I purchased this book three years ago and I still refer to it for ideas on Christmas cakes. I have a few other books by Linda Pawsey and I must add that I think she's such a creative person! I love all the Christmas figures. This book is very well written and I really hope Linda writes another one for Christmas soon.

I like how the shark and the stingray are nice to everybody in the ocean. Manta Claus is very funny looking.

This a cute story about Polar Bear & his friend Mouse who live at the North Pole. Polar Bear is always happy and helps everyone, Santa, Mrs. Claus, the elves, reindeer and other North Pole residents! When Santa's sleigh gets stuck Polar Bear goes comes to help, but he can't budge the sleigh until he calls his friend Mouse and everyone else to help and the sleigh is finally moves and is unstuck.

The illustrations are beautiful and this is very cute book on how being helpful is nice, that even the smallest can make a difference as well a friendship between a Polar Bear and Mouse is special.

THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE SNOWMAN STORY & IT TURNS OUT NICE & CHEERY & THERE ANIT NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. THE BOYS LIKED SEEING THE PICTURES OF HOW THEY WERE DIFFERENT SIZES & THE DIFFERENT STYLE THINGS THEY WORE.
MADE THEM WISH THEY COULD HAVE RAN OUT & MADE A FEW OF THEIR OWN!!!

After borrowing this book from the library I knew I had to own it! The illustrations are colorful, precise and engaging. The projects include a nice variety from traditional crafts to cooking, playtime activities and wildlife. Some are quite quick to complete and others are great for taking your time. Perfect for many ages, including very young children. Great job! Well worth your money.
