Examine the Evidence.

What needs to be examined by the critics of Decker's writings, is who, and what God is, as taught by Mormonism.
The proof shows the teachings of Mormonism and it's leader/founders include this........
The teachings are, that God is a polygamous resurected man.
That he continues co-habit with thousnds of resurected "godess wives" in heaven, that they give birth to billions of spirit babies.
These spirit babies, grow up in heaven, to later be born as physical babies here on Earth.
That God came down to Mary the future mother of Jesus, and had a literal physical relationship with Mary, and made her pregnant.
That there was no such thing as the "virgin birth".
That Jesus later married Mary Magdeline, Mary and Martha, and other women, and fathered children of his own, with his polygamous marriages.
These are the accurate teachings of the leaders and founders of Mormonism, just listing a few.
Faithful Mormons should openly support and stand by these teachings and doctrines of their Church, and not be offended by them.
After all, they believe they have the only true Church and God's doctrines on Earth.
If that is true, then admit these teachings and doctrines are true also. Don't take offense at them.

I am very suprised at the ideas people will put into print these days and call it factual evidence. I have nothing against someone stateing an opinion but the deliberate attack of someone on any religion be it Mormon, Catholic, Jehovah's Witness, Baptist, etc... Is incorrect.

To look at a religion one must go and study the beliefs of the religion from the source. I am a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have gone to many Churches and I have made a dilligent study of their beliefs.

As a "Mormon" I study the bible in my church and I express a strong belief in its teachings. I am always saddened when someone writes me or tells me of my "misguided ways" or "weird" ideas. I wish some of these people would not rely on any other person's opinions and beliefs and rather would study things out for themselves from the very source. It is easy to say a Church is false because you were told so, it is another to know that the teachings of a church is false by actually going and seeing and trying for yourself.

You may find this church to be different from anything you have ever heard about it. It certainly was that way for me.

If you want to know about Mormonism, attend one of their numerous churches. Read their scriptures. Befriend a member. Why base your beliefs on a guy who is obviously seeking out some kind of vengence? Stepping on too many Mormon toes? Most Mormons are completely comfortable with their religion, what they're not comfortable with are people that lie and deceive. Is it easier to quickly say, Mormonism is false. Or is it easier to take some time to look into it for yourself? Right. So when it comes down to it, anyone reading and agreeing with an Ed Decker book is not looking for answers, rather fuel for their own ignorance. It is clear. Anyone that supports Ed Decker falls into that category and makes themselves look equaly foolish. But I don't know, maybe the protestants are upset that the LDS church is stealing members of their congregation. I swear, if you read the Bible, then you don't understand it. "By their fruits ye shall know them".

...maybe you should consider whether or not you even know the difference between the truth and the lie! It is plain to see here today...that the nature of the present Mormon church is the same as it was back when Joseph was leading. One cannot come to an HONEST conclusion without considering BOTH sides of any story!

Deceived Mormons

This book is an excellent compilation from a former LDS who by the grace of God saw the truth and realized the god of Mormanism is just a man and ... a god without eyes to see and ears to hear...

Aside from that, I find that the most of the reviews here are by Mormons who really can only attack this book by attacking the author personally and are not able to attack the material itself. Typical of these folk who are under the bondage to the enemy through the 'burning in the bosom' witness of the False Holy Spirit (aka the great deceiver, Satan) We shouldn't attack Mormons any more than we should attack a blind man who stumbles into the lanes of fierce traffic... instead we should rescue them if their free agency allows them to be rescued. Otherwise they will no doubt spend eternity with their glorified deceiver god(s).

"Works salvation" by another name.

The lordship salvation belief flies in the face of the grace of God. By grace through faith, and that NOT OF YOUR SELVES.

Lordship salvationists forget at least one piece of advice from God, and that is that ALL (i.e. ALL) of your works of righteousness (even the very best attempts to make Jesus your Lord) ARE AS FILTHY RAGS.

Still, as the old adage says, "there go I but for the grace of God".

Do your self a favor, don't bother buying this book. Read the gospel instead. You'll find the right answers there.

Dead wrong.

Crenshaw's theological bias is the same old re-hash of Lordship Salvationist heresies. He's simply dead wrong. Its hard to imagine that, after 15 years of thorough refutation of the flawed hermeneutics and exegetics of this ilk that they continue to get up off the mat. If you enjoy being misled about the true meaning of God's Word, read Crenshaw. If you to really know what God is saying, have a look at Dillow's "Reign of the Servant Kings." My credentials?
