Childrens Days Books

We have quite a few books in this series and my son loves them. I was recently excited to hear that they also have a toilet training one.

We got this book from the library, and after we returned it my son asked for it almost every day for weeks. I'd say that's a long memory for a 19-month old. I enjoyed the illustrations and all of the cute details you notice each time you read the book. Many of these my son noticed before I did!

I received this book as part of a set from a book club in the mail. The others were messy baby, playtime baby, and baby's potty. The books are great because the piece connected by a ribbon (the baby character) either can be fit into a space on the pages (like a puzzle piece) or used to pretend different scenerios on the pages (like climbing stairs, splashing in the tub, sitting in the highchair, etc.). THe baby is clothed differently on each side, so at the end of the book, baby is changed into new clothes (messy baby), pajamas (goodnight baby), and swim trunks (playtime baby). This is a fun book to read and play with. I highly recommend the whole set.

Very impressed with Amazon. The post office delivered my package to the wrong house. I called Amazon and they shipped out another package so that I could get it before Christmas. The book actually arrived by DHL on that Sunday the 23rd. It was great ordering from a company who truly puts customer service first!

Dawn has just arrived in stoneybrook . Everyone who's moved from a place which they once idolised will really relate to this book. Compared to previous aby sitters club books I really enjoyed this one because it is really realistic. It shows the changes over time , the reall feeelings. Dawn is my favourite babby sitter. It's funny how Dawn has just moved to stoneybrook and dealt with so many things. She made new friends and is on to her next challenge. Her baby sitting charges. Her 3 impossible baby sitting charges. When one of her charges gets kidnapped the whole of stoneybrook is in search. Dawn in the end as always survives. Dawn is a real survivor. I don't think people give her enough credit for standing up to what she believes in.

This third in the Baby Sitters Club (BSC) series of graphic novels is my favorite so far. Raina's drawings seem more detailed and lively in each successive book. I've been buying the BSC graphic novels for my niece who is finding real inspiration in the artwork while simply enjoying Ann Martin's time-honored stories, and I heartily recommend this series both for the clean, yet engaging stories, as well as the excellent graphics. Especially recommended for girls who are reluctant readers, because graphic novels are many times a great introduction to storytelling in book form.

Bev has added her own special talen for telling stories to make this book come alive and teach a life lesson at the same time. I am anxiously waiting for more of her books

I bought this book this morning, and now, this evening, I am finished it. The story is so excellent I was crying at the end! I don't recommend you read this book if you haven't already read the entire Brio Girls series from the beginning. But if you have, you'll love this book! It really helped me understand God better, even without understanding. Lissa Halls Johnson is a great author who knows how to accurately portray tough times and the feelings they come with.
