Childrens Days Books

I got this book to show my nephew what I do for a living, and it was great for that purpose. Thanks goodness fishing hasn't changed too much since the 70s!

This book was written by my grandson's doctor. A very enjoyable and informative book.

This is a great resource which shows how librarians deal with books and do storytimes but also must be up on the latest electronic media.

(Only found one error: "All library items have call numbers." In Dewey Decimal system, all NON fiction items have call numbers and fiction is sorted by authors' last names. This is not a big deal.)

The Fun Facts really are fun, and a nice touch is the clock in the upper right hand corner of the pages, showing how the jobs change as the day goes by.

It's nice to see a career book for children focused on being an artist, and in this case a sculptor. The book did a great job of portraying art as a REAL process in a simple and unintimidating way. Children will also enjoy meeting Dave's dog, Pharro - a nice touch. I hope many libraries opt to order this for their childrens' sections.

This book is a great easy reader for level 1 or as a read-aloud for 3-5 year olds! It, along with the other Jobs People Do series, do a great job of introducting kids to jobs people do. It has great bright pictures and easy to read text. A book kid are sure to pick up and just look through & eventually read themselves.

The book arrived on time and in great condition. I would not hesitate to purchase another book from this seller.

David Lewmans writing is exactly like tommy's day. The adventures,the inventions and friendship are good. He also did a good job on the story.

Beautifully produced and broken down into 3 parts, Cinar's book can be enjoyed on multiple levels by readers of all ages. If you love children's books you should have this one.

Joe brings a lot of native stoys with jokes and morals. All use interesting creatures from New Mexico.
