Birthdays Books

I just finished reading this book the other day, and I think it's very cute and funny! Diglett is having a birthday party and four of it's friends have come to celebrate. However, there's one problem: Diglett's cave is so dark that no one can see anything! However, Diglett continues to have his party even though his friends can't see. I think it's cute to guess what Diglett and his family look like. We get to see the inside of the cave twice: once when the candles on Diglett's cake are lit, and another time when the toy plane that Diglett got for his birthday breaks a hole in the roof of his cave and lets light in. I think this a very cute book because kids can use their imaginations to envision what the members of Diglett's family look like.

Both my boys love this one. We read it every night before bed for a week. It is a very sturdy board book and a cute story. There are a few sentences on each page. The pictures and story are fun! I like this author's books. If you like this one you might like Pikachu in Love by Tracey West. It is a picture book with several sentences per page.

This book allows students to learn in a refreshing way. Kids love to sing, and being able to sing the colors is a big help for my son. Thanks

I LOVE THIS BOOK!! Polly sounds like me in some parts of it. It's a well written book, and I adore the illustrations. It's very funny, too. I like when Polly said about Horace "He is the only dead thing I have ever seen apart from flies which don't count." It's one of the best books made!! Frances, you did a great job!! I am six years old and I really liked this book. I liked the kids. I liked the ending. I want to read all the Benny and Watch Books.

If you believe we can make a difference in the world, please read this book and any other book by Michel Odent. He is knowledge enlighter, a mind broader. As a surgeon he proved we can humanize birth, as a scientist and a philosopher he is proving we can pave the way to a better humanitary civilization through love, in many levels.

This book was very informative. It included several facts about Prince William. I read it strait through and enjoyed every page. All the facts stated appeared to be true, and nothing was said that would offend or upset William and his fans. I searched for a book that included a lot of information about the future king of England. I purchased several different books, but this book proved to be the most informative.

This pretty book has a sweet story, doesn't talk down to children, and has the added bonus of having various goodies on every page - cards to decorate and address, a cookie ornament recipe (it's metric since it's British, but just use your own from a book or on-line), a stocking pattern, an organza drawstring purse, packs of sequens & glitter to decorate with. It's a cheerful story with cheerful pictures about a girl & her best friend trying to do something special for their friends & family for the Christmas Eve party at their house. It's a perfect gift for girls 3/4 with a good bit of help from an adult, 5/6-ish with some help from an adult, maybe even 7 or 8 with more independence on some of the projects that require dexterity. All projects have clear directions. It's a perfect pre-Christmas treat so they can prepare something special for Christmas like Poppy and her friend, Honey. I highly recommend it. I think girls will love it!

Rechageable Zinc batteries is a fairly technical book that will require several readings of the many papers presented in the book. Half of the book is about Nickel/Zinc batteries and their problems and proposed solutions. The rest of the book is devoted to Silver/ zinc and other battery types. Recommended reading for one who is interested in creating their own EV batteries or who is interested in this type of storage battery technology

Great book. Very cute, interesting, great illustrations. Well planned and very creative. Highly recommended.
