Birthdays Books

I found this to be one of the most interesting tomes on the subject! Here I was, looking for the ballroom champion (Peter Eggleton), and I stumbled across this physics volume that put it all in place for me. I recommend it for students of astronomy.

My 2 and 3 year old love this book. They speak a little Spanish, although we predominantly speak english at home, but as Tomas is such an engaging character they have quickly learnt most of this story. Great fun derived from an incident with a cow!

My son just read this book aloud to me. He really enjoyed it. We love David Adler and plan to read all the books we can by him. If you have a young mystery lover this book is for them. My son is 7 and he loved it!

Flik's Perfect Gift is a cute story. It's Atta's birthday and Flik wants to get her something great. He uses his brain to think of some ideas with a daisy.Yet though he can't make a good present out of it, Atta thinks it's wonderful. This story really shows it's not the gift, but the thought that counts.

In this story Franklin decides and tells his friends that he's going to have his birthday at an amusement park. When he tells his parents, he finds out that if he's going to have it at the amusement park they can only afford to let him take one friend. Faced with this option, Franklin comes up with a creative solution so he can celebrate his birthday with all his friends and have just as much fun as if they went to an amusement park.
